Rules follow traditional Dungeons and Dragons 5th edition with few changes:
- Exhaustion rules follow 2024 edition:
- Condition broken into 6 levels, (level 6 means death).
- Each long rest removes 1 level of exhaustion.
- Instead of every level having a different effect, the exhaustion now has following effects:
- When you make a d20 roll, the roll is reduced by 2x your exhaustion level. For example, if your character has level 3 exhaustion, any d20 roll would be reduced by -6.
- Your speed is reduced by a number of feet equal to 5x your exhaustion level. For example, if you have Level 4 exhaustion, your speed would be reduced by -20 feet.
- Each character gains free feat at the 1st level.
- Power attack for everyone:
When you use the attack action to make an attack using a weapon you are proficient with or an unarmed strike, you can choose to take (- Proficiency bonus) penalty to the attack roll and (Proficiency bonus x 2) to the attack’s damage. These bonuses do not stack with bonuses granted by the Great Weapon Master or Sharpshooter feats. - Shield spell offers only +3 bonus to AC (from +5).
- Do not roll for stats at character creation. Use point buy or standard array.
- Choose only from species found in the List of species.
