  • Society and culture Tribes of orcs mostly diverted from the barbaric and primal course of life few hundred years ago. Nowadays orc society values order, discipline, and the strength of the collective above all else. Each tribe has a rigid hierarchy with a clear chain of command, typically led by chieftain who has proven their strength, wisdom, and clear judgement according to the tribal laws. Currently orcs are working their way towards unification of all tribes under one banner, one nation, even though factions that oppose this policy exist.
    Oaths and bonds are considered sacred, and breaking them is a severe violation of trust and law.
  • Physiology Powerfully built humanoids, typically standing between 5 and 6 feet tall with muscular physiques. Their skin color ranges from shades of grey and green to brown. Their faces are characterized by broad noses, heavy brows, and often prominent lower canines that can resemble small tusks.

  • Language The Orcish language is limited by the structure that was developed long time ago during primitive orc societies. As the archaic orcish tongue struggles to adapt, various modern branches emerged, specific to each tribe. Some tribes have accepted derivatives of Orynthian or Sylvian tongue.
