    • Darkvision. You have a cat’s keen senses, especially in the dark. You can see in dim light within 30 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can’t discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
    • Cat’s Luck. Once per long rest when you attempt a Dexterity saving throw, you can roll the saving throw tice and take the better result. You must decide to use this ability after the dice is rolled but before the result is determined.
    • Tabaxi Curiosity. Thanks to your curious nature, you gain proficiency with two of the following skills of your choice: Insight, Investigation, Sleight of Hand, Stealth, Perception or Survival.
    • Feline Agility. Your reflexes and agility allow you to move with a burst of speed. When you move on your turn in combat, you can double your speed until the end of the turn. Once you use this trait, you can’t use it again until you move 0 feet on one of your turns.
    • Hypermobility. You have advantage on saving throws when trying to end “Grappled” or “Restrained” conditions. Additionally you can squeeze into spaces where a ‘small’ creature would fit.
  • Society and culture Tabaxi society is structured around family groups. Driven by insatiable curiosity, tabaxi are natural collectors of information, trinkets, and stories. This makes them excellent spies, messengers, and information brokers.
  • Physiology Tabaxi possess slender, agile bodies covered in short fur patterns ranging from spotted to striped in various combinations of gold, black, brown, and gray. Their faces feature feline characteristics including whiskers, slit pupils, and mobile ears.
  • Religion Tabaxi spirituality revolves around a multitude of small deities and spirits rather than organized religion. Most notable is Jenkaal, god of the curious. They believe certain objects and locations hold inherent spiritual power.
  • Language The old tabaxi language is long forgotten, nowadays tabaxi speak Sylvan and Orynthian with a heavy use of cat-like sounds.
